About The Maryville Foundation

Bringing Hope, One Student at a Time

The Maryville Foundation was born out of a deep conviction: every child, no matter their background, deserves the chance to dream—and the support to pursue that dream.

In Ghana, many bright and promising students are held back—not by their talents or potential—but by poverty. Some are orphaned, others are from families unable to afford basic education costs. In the face of this reality, The Maryville Foundation stands as a beacon of hope.

We exist to walk alongside students who may have otherwise given up—restoring their confidence and giving them the tools to succeed.

Our Mission

To provide hope, education, and opportunity to brilliant, low-income students in Ghana through scholarships, mentorship, and meaningful community support.

Our Vision

To build a thriving community of educated, purpose-driven leaders who rise from hardship, transform their futures, and invest back into the lives of others.

We are more than an organization

What We Do

We believe education is not just a right—it’s a powerful catalyst for change. By supporting these students, we’re not only changing individual lives; we’re building a generation of leaders who will give back and uplift their communities
We’re here to support poor people

Why We Exist

We’ve seen students with top grades give up on life because they had no help. The Maryville Foundation was created to be that help—to restore hope, revive dreams, and remind them they matter. We are more than an organization—we are a village that believes in the power of collective impact.
